I hope you had a good holiday break. There’s just over four weeks to go before Eboracon!
We have 13 people signed up which is a little better than expected. Hopefully, we’ll get one or two more.
Games
It’s time to organise games. Please use the games organiser to let everyone else know what you want to play. I’m happy to help you set up something, if you’re unsure, but it is up to you to get things moving.
We’ve already got a few multi-player options available:
- A Game of Thrones the Boardgame (FFG), 4-6 players
- 18NewEngland (3-5 players),
- one of the GMT Great Statesmen series – ie Versailles 1919 (4-player), Churchill (3-player) or (if it ships in time) Congress of Vienna (4-player)
Alternatively, set up a two-player game; play solo or, god forbid, bring your figurines!
I’m probably going to bring a couple of two-player games if you’re stuck with half an hour or so to kill, such as:
Weather
As we’ve seen over the last few days, a couple of flakes of snow will grind the country to a halt. If disruptions look likely, I’ll send out another email. I’d rather not have to use Whatsapp but we’ll see how things pan out.
