25 January 2025
It’s two weeks until Eboracon! I’m pleased that there has been a healthy interest in the event. Unfortunately, several people have had to drop out and we are now at twelve. I planned to be out of pocket running the first event though I’d rather not hire a hall for only a handful of gamers. Twelve is fine; eight is not.
Therefore, I’d be grateful if you could confirm that you still plan to attend on Saturday 8 February. If we have enough numbers then I will then confirm that we go ahead and I can pay the rest of the hall fee.
If you can’t make it – that’s fine – but please let me know if you’re still willing to attend an event in the future – possibly 12 or 13 April, or 18 May.
Assuming we’re good to go, it looks like we have three games planned to kick-off:
- 18 New England – we could still use one or two more
- Churchill – one space left
- France ’40 -full
That means there’s scope for maybe one other multi-player game or maybe couple of two player games. I’d hate it if you didn’t have a game to play so I strongly recommend you arrange something in advance. Use the organiser, BGG, email etc to do so. Contact me if you’re stuck.
As for games later in the day, I’m bringing Versailles 1919, Twilight Struggle, Andean Abyss and maybe one or two more. I’m happy to play any of these and, of course, you can borrow these if needs be.
I will confirm details next week with a reminder about directions, parking and food.

Happy gaming
Pete
